Liked:The location of the room was convenient to the Nice Ville train station and Promenade des Anglais and shops/restaurants. The breakfast was good. The air conditioning worked.

Disliked:The staff were the worst I have ever experienced at any accommodation provider. I had booked the room and through prior communication, organised for a 2.00pm arrival. The young man on reception said we could not have our room till 3pm. I was not impressed and told him I was not happy and I wanted to know why. He was unable to give a satisfactory explanation and I asked to speak to his manager. He was totally unhelpful or sympathetic to the fact we had travelled for hours to get there and walked in the heatwave conditions form the train station. He did not appear to have the necessary knowledge or skills to deal with the situation. We ended up waiting till to 3pm approximately, then we were given a room. The shower leaked all over the floorboards in the adjacent bedroom, no matter how careful we were when showering. This is partially due to the poor design of the shower base but also to maintenance, cracks in the corner. This is not anywhere near a 4 star hotel!

Liked:I didn't have breakfast. The location was great.

Disliked:I had to pay a city tax upon arrival, even though it wasn't mentioned beforehand. The hair dryer wasn't working.
