Noisy and uncomfortable

Liked:Location was great. Bathroom was modern and clean and functioned well. Room had a safe and mini fridge. Check in staff were lovely. Cold filtered water dispenser in kitchen

Disliked:We were in a room on the top floor with very low and sloped ceilings. To get into the far side of the bed I had to climb across the bed, there wasn’t room to walk around because the ceiling is so low. The hallway on level 5 also seemed to be the storage area/staff room for the housekeeping staff. The hallway including right in front of our room door was blocked by the trolleys of laundry bags all hours of both days of our stay (e.g. not just during cleaning hours). Both mornings we were woken early to the sound of the housekeeping staff talking outside our room for a very long time (an hour or so, not 5 minutes), the room was not sound proof at all and they kept banging the trolleys into our door - very disruptive! I was going to raise these concerns with the receptionist upon checkout however she never asked how the stay was as she was too busy confusing me as a student staying with a school group in the hostel and asking me to return my key card to my ‘teacher’! The bed and pillows were also uncomfortable.
