How we selected these hotels
Each property on this page had to clear two bars: confirmed EV charging access and a verified sustainability credential. For EV charging, we accepted on-property stations and third-party garages within a 5-minute walk of the hotel entrance, provided the garage is a named, operating facility. For sustainability, we checked the US Green Building Council's LEED database, the Green Key global registry, the Energy Star certified buildings list, and brand-level sustainability reports that named this specific property with numeric results. A corporate mission statement or a brand-wide pledge with no property-level data did not qualify any hotel. Hotels are ranked Tier 1 first, then Tier 2, with tiebreakers applied in the order described in the ranking criteria.
