Comfortable dog-friendly room in a historic hotel

Liked:Charming deco-era hotel located in large, beautiful park along the river in the center of "old" New Port Richey. Our dog-friendly room was attractively decorated, spacious and clean, with a comfortable king bed. With the curtains drawn, the room was dark, cool and quiet - perfect for sleeping. The desk staff are attentive and friendly. We dined on the hotel patio, and enjoyed ice cream for dessert from a cute home-made ice cream shop across the road. In the morning we walked around the lake in the Park with the locals, watching ducks and turtles, and enjoyed complimentary coffee on the hotel patio. This was our second visit and we will likely come again.

Highly recommend

Liked:This a wonderful hisoric hotel. It oozes charm and has delightful staff. Everyone is enthusiastic and want to please. This is worth going out of your way for. I highly recommend you stay here. I know I will be going back and trying different rooms.

Liked:Large room, small shower, good location, complimentary coffee, breakfast must be purchased, elevator available, no luggage carts, good availability during spring break time, limited parking but overflow available across the street

Omg it's horrible

Liked:They ruined our wedding night. The person at the front desk didn't allow the pizza delivery guy to deliver to our room and kept our food night of 4/11/25 I will be leaving a review on this place to every site I can find it on. Worst of the worst. Then the customer service person on here confirmed it they never even attempted to contact us to give us our food. Never ever ever stay here.
