What Guests Say

8.0

Excellent

232 reviews

Highlights

+Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff (shuttle/port assistance, owner support)
+Excellent location within walking distance of town, port and beach
+Nice pool area (including toddler pool) and pleasant pool facilities
+Spacious, well-decorated rooms with kitchenette and good air conditioning
+Small, pleasant hotel atmosphere (not overcrowded)
+Convenient on-site car rental and close to restaurants

Could Improve

–Mixed cleanliness reports (some guests noted unclean pool and a musty basement smell)
–Early-morning housekeeping noise disturbed sleep for some guests
–Breakfast described as average with limited variety
–Some rooms too small for 4 people with insufficient storage
–Bathroom door privacy issues in some rooms
–Weak WiFi except near the pool

Cleanliness7.0

Mixed reports: several guests praised a clean pool and rooms, but others noted the pool appeared unclean at times and a basement room had a musty/sewer-like smell; occasional housekeeping noise also affected perceived cleanliness/rest.

Service9.0

Strongly positive: staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and accommodating (welcome drink, shuttle/port help, owner assisting with drop-offs); quick problem resolution when issues arose.

Location9.0

Excellent location: within walking distance of Naxos town, port and beach; close to restaurants and a convenient spot for island navigation.

Room Quality8.5

Generally very good: spacious, well decorated rooms with kitchenette, good air-conditioning and comfortable beds; some rooms can be small for 4 people, basement rooms may have odor issues and some bathroom doors lack full privacy.

Amenities8.5

Strong amenities: pleasant pool (including toddler pool), pool facilities/showers, kitchenette in rooms, airport shuttle and on-site car rental access; downside includes spotty WiFi outside pool area.

Value for Money7.5

Fair value: many guests found the service and location good for the price, but extra transport costs to the main strip and average breakfast reduced perceived value for some families.

Food and Beverage7.5

Breakfast rated average-to-good by several guests; some praised it while others suggested higher quality or greater variety (e.g., proper scrambled eggs).

Overall Experience7.0

Overall pleasant stay driven by excellent staff and location, but issues like occasional cleanliness concerns, early-morning housekeeping noise, average breakfast and minor room drawbacks lowered the overall impression for some guests.

A very good hotel, ideally located close to the town.

Liked:A very good hotel, ideally located close to the town. We only stayed for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially John at the reception. The breakfast was also excellent. The hotel is located on the main road, but this was not a major issue. There is a great swimming pool just across the road, and the beach is also nearby. We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for a short stay.
