Lovely staff, comfortable bed & great breakfast!

Liked:The breakfast was excellent, great variety and it was nice to sit outside. We enjoyed an evening meal too. The bed and pillow were comfortable and it was great to have balcony doors to open. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Disliked:The room was extremely hot, but it was during a heatwave, so not in control of the hotel. Air conditioning would have been appreciated, but they did provide fans. They didn't seem to store drinks in a fridge either, which we thought was odd. We had mineral water from the bar that wasn't chilled which was disappointing considering how hot it was.

Liked:Breakfast good with lots of variety Staff especially Joanne very helpful Tried to leave vehicle and used public transport which was eye opening and an experience

Disliked:Slightly out of main City so public transport had to be used No near restaurants open and limited choice of hot meal

Disliked:There could have been more lights in the bedroom. When the curtains are closed there are only the bedside lights in the main part of the room.

Liked:A great hotel for a 1-2 night stay. It is located right by the river and in the middle of the forest, so it feels very peaceful and serene. It is a perfect place if you are looking for some tranquility. Just a heads-up: there is no mini-bar in the room. Also, the breakfast could be a bit more varied - for example, it would be nice to have some fresh vegetables.
