comfortable hotel in prime location

Liked:I loved the air conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. It was also a quiet retreat inside the hotel compared to the busy, somewhat chaotic street outside. The bathroom was also really nice.

Disliked:The upholstered furniture was heavily used, and I didn't feel comfortable sitting on it. The breakfast room is beautiful, but the food offerings were just ok.

A wonderful hotel in the perfect location to explore Munich

Liked:The location is perfect, within steps of the Glockenspiel, as well as a variety of restaurants and beer gardens, including the famous Hofbrauhaus. For the farther-flung sites, the train is also very close, and there were always taxis waiting right around the corner. The operators of this hotel are very helpful and pleasant. We arrived well before check-in, and they allowed us to store our bags so that we could explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, with eggs, sausages, and a wide variety of cheeses, breads, yogurts, condiments, and other options. Perhaps most important of all in July...there was air-conditioning in our room! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Liked:The location was very central and the breakfast was very nice.

Disliked:The bells noise every 15 minutes. Smoking INSIDE the hotel was awful!!!! People smoke everywhere- outside the dining room, in the inner court of the hotel. This was really bad. We reserved an upgraded quiet room and got a tiny cabin.

Convenient location.

Liked:Superb location. Right in the heart of things. Parking, which is rare in Munich centre. Room was comfortable.

Disliked:It could have done with a bar or seating area. There was a terrace, but that was closed. The rooms are not large.
