The Hotel was very nice and conveniently located.

Liked:The location was perfect for exploring the area. everything was easily accessible by foot.

Disliked:Under the Hotel description it showed parking so we assumed that there was parking at the Hotel - which was not the case. The parking was at a nearby parking garage, which was a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel, the fee for overnight parking was an additional 40 Euro's which was on top of the room charge.

Liked:Unlike so many other central Munich hotels, the Hotel an der Oper was a reasonable price for a very comfortable and spacious room. Location is excellent for food, tourist spots and the U-bahn.

Excellent location. Good value. Clean

Liked:Very well located, just around the corner from the Hofbrauhaus. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Disliked:Front desk staff not particularly friendly.

Liked:Well located in a quiet street but only a 3 minute walk to Marienplatz. The rooms were nicely furnished, comfortable and clean with good air conditioning. Some of the reception staff were very nice and welcoming, especially the gentleman who checked us in.

Disliked:Bottled water was unavailable. We were told by the night receptionist to buy some in the restaurant which I believe belongs to hotel. No problem there, except the cost was €8 per bottle which I felt was unreasonable.
