Very comfortable accommodation with an excellent breakfast and convenient location

Liked:Hotel had been renovated since our last visit in 2016. Excellent standard of the room including bathroom and spare toilet/laundry. The hotel was still under renovation but the disruption was absolutely minimal. The breakfast was truly outstanding and the although there was no restaurant for lunch/dinner, the hotel had a kitchen which provided exceptional quality food for room service. We used the laundry facility which was reasonably priced.

Disliked:Reception wasn't able to provide a draft bill the night before checkout.....then 2 days later we receive a call saying that the hotel made an error and undercharged us so we needed to pay the additional amount otherwise the charges would be deducted from the employees' wages.....we had no issue with paying the additional charges as these were legitimate however we considered the penalty on the employees to be totally unacceptable. The issue was with the hotel's system so they cannot expect employees to take that responsibility.

Disliked:Everything bad service bad breakfast and on renovations whilst customer are in very dusty paint smell and dumpy smell I was sick for week coz of same as I’m asthmatic patient can never recommend this They were suppose to give discounted fare as it was in renovations

Refurbished going on and we were not notified. Dust everywhere and not a nice experience.

Disliked:Refurb going on and dust everywhere, we weren’t told about it and my daughter has asthma. She was affected and hindered our holiday as we weren’t able to walk too much. We should have been notified and suitable replacement accommodation offered. Also all my suitcases and some clothes were made dirty by the chalk like material on the ground floor.
