GREAT GETAWAY WITH A VIEW

Liked:We loved the cabin and the size was perfect. The views were spectacular. The bed was comfortable. It was secluded and we maintained. We rode horses. The whirlpool tub was nice. Lots of wildlife around to observe.

Disliked:The tv had no service. We only had a microwave for cooking so finding a place to eat was somewhere inconvenient. We ate twice at the restaurant on site. It wasn’t as good as we had expected and very expensive.

Dismal and not up to the usual customer service expected in the USA

Liked:Remote location with no facilities. Rooms are not serviced. The water is not drinkable. Bathroom stains with sand. Asked for an additional coffee bag on the second morning and was told to ‘go to the restaurant’ - I duly did and there was no one there. Stay in Springdale if you are visiting Zion! Not here!!

Great alternative to Springdale

Liked:If you’re looking for a true Zion experience that feels rustic, peaceful, and connected to nature, Zion Mountain Ranch is the place to stay. It’s located on the east side of Zion National Park, which has a completely different feel from the busier Springdale area. I loved coming back each day to the quiet, open spaces and beautiful scenery. I stayed in the Canyon Rim cabin and it was truly extraordinary. The views are absolutely breathtaking and one of the highlights of my entire trip. Sitting on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee or watching the sunset over the cliffs in the evening was unforgettable. I highly recommend it. It’s worth it for the scenery alone. The staff made my stay exceptional. I arrived after hours, and Jose was an absolute godsend, making sure I got to my cabin without any stress. Shannon, Dallas, and Jasmine at the front desk were always warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. One of my favorite parts of the ranch was getting to spend time with Rex, Ember, and the adorable puppies. They brought so much personality to the property and were such a fun and unexpected part of the experience. I also went horseback riding with Kyle and Maura, and they were fantastic guides. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the ride so enjoyable. If you eat at the restaurant—and you definitely should—plan to arrive early. The chef prepares outstanding farm-to-table meals using fresh ingredients, and some of the most popular dishes do sell out. Overall, Zion Mountain Ranch was much more than just a place to stay. It became part of the experience of visiting Zion. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
