A pleasent weekend experience

Disliked:Could use a bit of maintenance , Nothing major but Our room shade was broken and parking garage was closed so we had to use city parking ( not far at all)

Stay away from this hotel

Liked:STAY AWAY from this hotel!!!!! I can’t believe this place has a 4 start review! We arrived on Thursday night at 9:45pm after a 6 hour tired and exhausted from our drive. Upon entering the hotel there was a weird smell couldn’t tell if it was cleaner or musty water smell. Front desk was friendly and only positive pert of the hotel. We stayed in a suite on first floor room 105. We entered our room and there was a very musty smell in the room. The further we got in the room the smell just got worse. Went to use the bathroom and the smell of musty mold cat pee just hit us. The bathroom tiles were making nose and moving as we walked in them. We all just wanted to get to bed since we had an early morning at WVU for new student orientation. Thankfully we had to be out of that room for majority of the day on Friday. By the time we came back to our room after dinner my wife and daughter just wanted to leave for home and didn’t want to stay for the last night. I was too tired to drive back home and we just got up early on Saturday to get out of there. We thought of asking for a different room but worries the next room would be far worse than the one we already had. We will not be returning to this place and strongly suggest that the build under goes testing for mold and have some major renovations made to it. Once we got home we had to immediately wash everything we brought clean and dirty clothes because they all smelled like the hotel room.

Disliked:The staff they started out nice enough, but when our key card wouldn't work, they were rude and didn't want to assist us so we could reenter the room. I will not stay there again.
