What Guests Say

8.7

Excellent

655 reviews

Highlights

+Prime Old Montreal location
+Spacious, well-decorated units
+Responsive, helpful staff
+Well-equipped kitchen and working AC
+Secure coded entry and updated units

Could Improve

–Inconsistent cleanliness (reports of dirt, stains, old towels)
–Occasional small/poor room layouts (bed too tight) and locked windows
–Some mattresses were too firm
–Parking nearby is expensive
–At least one guest reported misleading photos/upsell

Cleanliness6.0

Mixed signals: several reviews praise a very clean, updated unit, but the most serious review describes dirt, stains, spider webs, old towels and overall poor cleanliness — warrants a notably reduced score.

Service9.5

Consistently praised: staff were quick to respond, solved lock issues promptly and responded to messages — strong service noted across reviews.

Location9.9

Outstanding: multiple reviewers highlight a prime Old Montreal location, walking distance to attractions and restaurants, easy drop-off and nearby parking — location is a major strength.

Room Quality8.6

Generally good but mixed: many guests found units spacious, well-appointed and comfortable (king bed), while others reported cramped bed placement, a too-firm mattress or locked windows — solid but inconsistent.

Amenities9.0

Strong: well-equipped kitchen, working AC, secure coded entry and updated furnishings reported; some wear noted on soft furnishings (carpet/couch) but overall amenities are a positive.

Value for Money8.6

Mixed value perception: most guests felt satisfied with the accommodation, though one guest reported feeling scammed and complained about an upsell and high nearby parking — slightly below top-tier value.

Food and Beverage8.7

Standard quality for this hotel tier (not mentioned in reviews).

Overall Experience9.3

Positive overall: majority of reviews describe pleasant stays, practical location and responsive staff, though a few significant negative cleanliness/room issues temper the experience.

Liked:The apartment was in a great location in Old Montreal, with beautiful surroundings and very good infrastructure.

Disliked:Unfortunately, despite the excellent location and the nice structure of the apartment, I was infested with bed bugs during my stay. After returning home, I contacted the apartment staff, who provided me with information stating that there was no evidence of bed bugs in the apartment. However, I do not know where else I could have been exposed, as I did not stay anywhere else during this period. The staff told me that the furniture, beds, and other areas of the apartment had been inspected. Nevertheless, after my return, I had numerous bed bug bites on my body. This was a very unpleasant experience and, in my opinion, the situation deserved a more careful investigation and response from the accommodation.
