Four Nights at the Hotel St-Thomas

Liked:We spent 4 nights at the Hotel St. Thomas, during the recent F1 Grand Prix event. Our stay was very pleasant, thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff. Right as we arrived our luggage was taken up to our room for us. This was a very nice touch. Our room was a Superior King and was large, comfortable and very clean. We also had a very nice, large deck! The breakfast was good, with some hot items included, like bacon, sausages, pancakes and eggs. The only reason I would not rate the room higher is because of the lack of any counter space in the bathroom. Though the bathroom is large, there is nowhere to hang your towel when in the shower, or anywhere convenient to put makeup or skincare on. I had to use the closed toilet lid to put items on, as I applied makeup. There was also no body lotion provided, but I had brought my own. The body wash was very nice. Please be aware that there is no coffeemaker in the room, but excellent made-to-order cappucino and espresso drinks are available at breakfast. All in all, it was a vey good stay. :)

Just A Great Hotel

Liked:Had a couple of days spare after a conference, so took some time to take in the sights and sounds of Montreal. Unfortunately, I managed to bring the British weather with me - 8 degrees, windy and never stopped raining. Instead, I used it as a couple of days chilling out with the hotel being a big part of my stay. Quite honestly, it's awesome. The staff are super helpful and fun to chat with, the breakfasts were great, and the room was clean, quiet & super-comfy and it's close enough for a heathy walk through the city to Mount Royal. Will be staying there again when I head back to Montreal, well worth the money.

Liked:This property has one parking space outside the property on the busy street for 15 minute unloading I could not communicate directly with the hotel as the number listed on the expedia website was not accurate. Someone did come and help us with our bags. There is a staircase to gain access to the lobby. And there is another staircase to go down to the elevator, Therefore it is not mobility friendly for people with walking issues., The bathroom layout is ridiculous. There is a huge room with a shower and a tub. However, there is only one sink with no counter space. In a room with two queen beds and a pullout, you would expect to find at least two sinks with adequate space for toiletries. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were offered a late check out for an additional fee.
