Very convenient and nice staff

Good location and staff but the property is a bit dated.

Liked:The location and staff were good.

Disliked:The property is more dated than expected and the rooms quite dark. I found the road noise a problem but to be fair, I'm a light sleeper.

Noisy and uncomfortable stay

Liked:The location was convenient and close to downtown Montreal.

Disliked:Unfortunately, the room was extremely noisy. There were strange vibrations and noises happening every few minutes, which made it almost impossible to sleep on my first night. It seemed to be related to the pipes or equipment in the building. I reported it to the front desk, and although they partially addressed the issue, the noise continued. I asked about it a few times, and I really think I should have been offered a different room. The hotel also feels very dated. The equipment, carpets, rooms, and bathroom all looked quite old. While I wouldn’t necessarily describe the room as dirty, the overall condition made it difficult for it to feel clean and comfortable. There was also an unpleasant smell in the hallway on my floor.

Handy location for travellers

Liked:Great accessibility to bus stop (straight outside) for easy commuting to and from the airport. Very handy to the port and Basilica as well. Staff were friendly and willing to problem solve issues.

Disliked:Useful facilities for cooking but no table for eating at. Kids enjoyed the ability to eat while watching tv though!
