Was clean. Bit of a walk from old port area but very disappointing breakfast

Liked:Staff quickly attended to a badly leaking shower unit to resolve. Hotel was clean.

Disliked:Breakfast was very basic for a Marriott hotel. Location was noisy with distant music in the late evening. Air conditioning unit was very loud too.

Disappointing and frustrating

Disliked:I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. During my stay, my personal belongings were taken from my hotel room, and what made the situation even worse was the hotel staff’s complete lack of urgency and concern in addressing the matter. I immediately reported the incident and expected management and staff to take it seriously, investigate what happened, and provide some form of assistance or resolution. Instead, I was repeatedly told that they would look into the matter and resolve it, but these promises were never followed by any meaningful action. I was repeatedly assured that something would be done, yet nothing happened before I checked out. Customer service was extremely poor, and I felt completely ignored and unsupported when I needed help. Being told repeatedly that the issue would be resolved, only to see no action taken, was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. What should have been an enjoyable trip to Montreal was unfortunately overshadowed by this experience. Having my belongings taken was already distressing, but the hotel’s failure to properly respond and support me made the situation even worse. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Guests deserve to feel safe, respected, and supported when something goes wrong, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. DO NOT BOOK THAT HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRESSED.
