Affordable & comfortable stay in Mompiche

Liked:Comfortable hostel, very friendly hosts, good shower, excellent breakast included. No air conditioning, but with a fan and mosquito net it is okay. We stayed in the room with kitchenette, which was convenient. They were very accommodating when we needed to cut our stay short.

Disliked:Our room did not have a sea view, but we could walk to the end of the property or down the street.

Liked:Our room had a good kitchen, comfy beds and a great balcony. The hosts spoke English and were helpful in organising trips and telling us what to do locally. Out of the 10 hostels we staying in in Ecuador this was our favourite.

Liked:The location is close to the beach and near several great restaurants (including the one attached to the hotel). The owners are welcoming and attentive to anything you need. My room was comfortable and quiet! And, guests are treated to a delicious breakfast from Vanessa. Absolute treat.

Cozy stay at Mompiche Beach

Liked:We loved the place; it is very cozy, has a great location, and is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants. The owners are very friendly—Santiago and Miriam are always willing to help and lend a hand with anything you need. It’s a pet-friendly place, which was a huge plus for us. They are very pleasant people. We hope to return to Mompiche and stay at this same hotel.

Disliked:We liked everything; I would only recommend having more large trash bins within the facility to keep the area tidier and cleaner. Also, perhaps offering more variety in the breakfast, which is very good, but I believe there’s always room for improvement.
