Excellent hotel, but give the restaurant a skip.

Liked:The Staff rocks, truly helpful and welcoming. The room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and the layout in the second room - TV, couch, dinette, and kitchen, were clean and comfortable. The overall experience was very good.

Disliked:The restaurant was not particularly good. The decor was old but comfortable, very 80s-ish. The server was great, but the food itself was poorly done. I ordered a rare steak sandwich, and received an well-done dry patty, that looked for all the world like a miniature hockey puck. The server mentioned that there was a distraction in the kitchen, involving a new staff member who was, it seemed, particularly attractive, and very distracting. Regardless, the food was awful. As a former Executive Chef, now retired, I was disappointed in the extreme.
