I stayed in the heart of Mill Valley for under $150!

Liked:Location, Location, Location

Disliked:It had a bit of a chemical smell when I first arrived, but I always bring air freshener and once I opened the window it was fine.

If you only need a one night stay, this motel will suffice.

Liked:The location is convenient to shopping, hiking, and all that Marin has to offer. Paradise Drive is a block away and it is a lovely walk around Richardsons Bay. The room has two large beds and there are enough electrical outlets to charge your devices as needed.

Disliked:No coffee maker in the room adds a layer of inconvenience in the morning. The freeway noise can be a bit much at night. The beds are terribly uncomfortable.

A total Waste of Almost $500.00

Liked:After checking into what the photo's I sent the first night represented, the first night was a nightmare. What I liked the second night as I was planning on leaving, the motel offered a two-bedroom unit that did not have black mold, that did have a closet, a clean bathroom, a bedroom that was not falling apart and a carpet that we felt more comfortable standing on without worry of the mess.

Disliked:The description should have been much better. We depended on Booking.com to know their inventory and they failed. The hosts could barely speak English. Check in was all that went fine, the room #41 A shit hole would be a compliment. Furniture over 50 years old, varnish off and falling apart, few outlets, Black Mold everywhere in bathroom, No Closet etc. No place to put belongings. I felt I was staying in a storage unit. I called Booking.com for help and was told wait till morning and we will take care of you versus calling my credit card company to dispute this outpriced worthless stay. I wasted an entire evening and into the morning after check-in trying on the phone trying to figure out what to do after I just got screwed out of close to $500.00. Even after the motel offered another room, my wife and I were so tired with the double move and being awake the night before, it absolutely runed the following day. So now we paid for Two nights that were horrible and wasted almost $500.00 on the hotel. The Insurance I bought was also worthless as Booking.com is offering $38.00 to offset almost $500.00 and doing it in future credit. I did ask to speak with someone at Booking.com but that did not occur because no one speaks English and not in the USA. So bottom line, yes, I would like refund based on the pictures alone the pictures I sent, however, if Booking.com only have third world hotels in their inventory, this response is probably the norm for Booking.com
