Not a good experience

Liked:Rooms are large.

Disliked:Everything is old. Bathroom is ancient, there is no bottled water in the rooms or for purchase (there were two vending machines, but both were out of bottled water), and there’s nothing nearby - not a gas station, a convenience store, nothing. Breakfast was very poor and the coffee smelled so bad. And all that for more than $180 per night, which is unacceptable.

Despite a few hiccups, the staff tried to make things right and maintained a positive attitude.

Liked:Staff was extremely friendly and did what they could to accommodate me once my cable tv went out by changing my room.

Disliked:My cale television and phone service went out in my room. Only the phone issue got resolved and I had to switch rooms and buildings. Also the room was not ready on my arrival.

nice and relaxing

Liked:Receptionist was awesome. she shared the history of the motel and told me about the bricks and stone. even showed me the ball room! I will definitely stay there again. And a real breakfast was an added bonus since I eat high protein and low carbs. Also loved the pool area.

Disliked:Need direction signs pointing to the office at various points from Rt 60. I stopped at each building before I drove all the way to the back and saw the portico.
