Consumer alert for anyone booking a stay at YVE Hotel Miami.

Liked:Consumer alert for anyone booking a stay at YVE Hotel Miami. Check your credit card statements carefully if you stay at the YVE Hotel Miami. When I physically checked out at the front desk, the agent explicitly told me "everything is good" and cleared my account. They never provided a paper receipt or emailed a final invoice. Days later, an unauthorized $535 incidental charge showed up on my card out of nowhere. I am currently filing a formal dispute with my bank for unauthorized billing. Always double-check your statements! There have been several others with the exact complaint of a $535 charge after check out so this appears to be a pattern. 🛑💳 #TravelTips #MiamiTravel #ConsumerAlert

Liked:The location was close to the Miami Port for our cruise.

Disliked:The hotel was very dated. The room had a hard bed and the bathroom was extremely small. The carpet looked threadbare and the mattress had stains all over it. We were told that they serve breakfast but was not told the breakfast was not complimentary. My son went to eat breakfast and didn't realize he had to pay for it. I would not choose this place again.

Liked:We had a wonderful experience. Mike at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly and professional. He made check in quick and easy and answered all our questions. Mike’s positive attitude and excellent customer service really set the tone for the day after a long flight!
