This would've been an ideal stay had it not been for the money hungry desk manager, on checkout.

Liked:Spacious apartment Rooftop Pool Location is prime for Wynwood nightlife, although with that comes the riff raff of Wynwood nightlife; 24hr Desk is great Maman cafe next door - Papi's Breakfast Bowl is a definite recommendation

Disliked:On checkout day, they tried to charge me an entire night's stay despite requesting a late checkout more than 24 hrs in advance. I travel alot and most hotels and apartments (Airbnb or not; I booked through Booking.com) will allow 1 additional hour for a checkout at 12.00pm. There was no pre-warning or T&Cs stating the amount I would be charged if checking out late and they seemed to pull the figure out of the air; It started at $30, and quickly escalated to $91. After a frustrating exchange with the host on Whatsapp, I went downstairs to the desk as I was Checking out: - The desk manager said that he had knocked on my door at 11.00am and there was no answer; I'm sorry but in What hotel in the World will a desk manager knock on a Guest's door at the pre-agreed checkout time?! (Housekeeping possibly, but not the Duty Manager) - Trying to justify the charge, he has accused me of having a 2nd person (still asleep in the room), implying I had brought company back; that is an accusation I do not take lightly and was offended and vexed.

Disliked:I was disappointed with my stay, mainly due to the poor condition of the room and the lack of customer-oriented service at the front desk. I honestly do not understand the high rating at google, which do not represent the current status of the facility. 1. Room condition and cleanliness The room was in clear need of refurbishment and a much deeper level of cleaning. When we arrived, the floor was so dirty that walking around with white socks turned them black. The sofa was heavily stained and looked as though it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. Several pieces of furniture were also in poor condition. The coffee table was damaged and wobbly, and the chair showed significant wear and tear. The bathroom walls had numerous stains that appeared to have been there for quite some time, raising concerns about the overall housekeeping standards. Even the dishwasher seemed well past its useful life, with the interior having turned yellow from age and extensive use. To make matters worse, when we tried to improve the cleanliness ourselves by using the vacuum cleaner provided in the room, the air coming out of the vacuum had a strong mouldy smell. Instead of making the room feel cleaner, it actually made the environment feel less fresh and raised additional concerns about maintenance and hygiene standards. Another observation that added to the disappointment was that, on our last day, we passed several other rooms that appeared to be noticeably better maintained and in better overall condition than the room we had been assigned. In addition, our room was furnished with only a high table and two high stools, despite our reservation being for a family of four, including two children. This meant there was not enough suitable seating for all guests, and the high stools were not particularly practical or safe for young children.
