Disliked:It’s 3 full days from my check out and they still haven’t refund the 100 USD deposit that they have taken from my credit card at my check in. This is unacceptable and clearly Marriott is taking financial advantage from this unfair policy.

Really nice rooms, great location, a few tweaks needed on check in procedure

Liked:Overall location , room size and comfort, the rooms were very comfortable well stocked and clean,the in room amenities for the beach were a great idea and very welcome. Pop up options on a daily basis were good such as coffee , food and other events

Disliked:Unfortunately the rooms weren’t ready in time despite pre confirmation of an agreed arrival time. Check in could have been more informative, as it felt rushed as a result of the rooms not being ready , staff could have been a bit more welcoming and friendly as it appeared they reacted to us being dissatisfied with the rooms not being ready. Would have been helpful to have discussed more about the amenities and facilities that could be accessed, rather than being directed to a QR code on the arrival information I.e parking options where we could have received preferential rates, gym accessibility, swimming pool options.Shops etc, for someone visiting Miami for the first time a local map of attractions etc would also have been welcome.

Liked:Absolutely wonderful location, kind / friendly service! Washer and dryer use included with stay. The loaner beach chairs, wagon and bike cruisers were fantastic perks. Highly recommend!

Liked:We stayed at Marriott Vacation Club Pulse, South Beach for 2 nights in July as a family. While the location is excellent, we left feeling that the overall experience didn't quite justify using Marriott Vacation Club points. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It's right in the heart of South Beach, just a very short walk from the beach, with countless restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. Everything is easily walkable, making it a great base for exploring Miami Beach. Our room was mostly clean, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. However, there wasn't much of a view, and the bathrooms are starting to feel dated and could definitely benefit from refurbishment. Unfortunately, I was also bitten quite badly during our stay, which took away from the experience. Check-in was straightforward and efficient, although there wasn't anything particularly memorable about the service. One thing to note is that there is no pool. Under normal circumstances this probably wouldn't have bothered us because the beach is so close, but during our visit South Beach was covered in large amounts of sargassum seaweed. That made the beach much less enjoyable than we'd expected, so not having a pool became a much bigger drawback. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but we'd highly recommend Motek nearby for a great meal. Overall, this hotel's location is undoubtedly its biggest strength, and if being in the centre of South Beach is your priority then it does that very well. However, considering the room quality, lack of facilities and our overall experience, I didn't feel it offered good value for Marriott Vacation Club points. Personally, I probably wouldn't stay here again.
