Not the best

Liked:We recently stayed at this hotel and, overall, our experience was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we had booked and paid extra for a sea view room. However, the first room we were given was on the first floor, right next to the restaurant's service toilets and certainly not what we had expected. We had to change rooms several times before finally being given the sea view room we had paid for. The hotel is located directly above a restaurant, which can be extremely noisy. Even in our sea view room, we could feel the vibrations from the loud music coming from the restaurant below, making it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay. We were also disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bed sheets were stained when we arrived, and despite asking several times for them to be changed, the replacement sheets also had stains. In general, the facilities did not seem particularly clean or well maintained. The beach towels were old and worn out, and many of the amenities could benefit from being updated. As for the staff, one of the receptionists was extremely kind and helpful, but unfortunately, we did not find the rest of the team particularly friendly or welcoming. A word of caution regarding the swimming pool: do not rely on the pictures shown on the website. The reality is quite different, and the pool itself was not inviting enough for us to even consider using it. The breakfast option was another disappointment. Rather than a proper buffet, you are only allowed to choose one set breakfast from a limited menu, which we did not feel was worth the price. To make matters worse, on our last morning, maintenance work on the plumbing started at 9 a.m., waking us up and creating unpleasant noise throughout breakfast. Considering that this was the most expensive hotel we stayed in during our vacation, we do not believe it offers good value for money.

Staffing is more training and or management needs to improve.

Liked:Being on ocean drive, walking distance from so many cool things and the beach!

Disliked:Rooms were dirty, clogged shower drains, basic beverage amenities like coffee and water were a second thought staff was confused and frustrated and took them almost an hour to check us in for our two night stay. Kept telling us they couldn't find our booking, and before our second night we were asked by a different customer service representative at the front desk if we were a completely different guest and questioned us about our room. We were promised breakfast coupons but never received them and were too disappointed at this point to even bother.

Great location but high price

Liked:Location was great. It was clean. There was some dirty on towels, but it was OK.

Disliked:Staff was rude not helpful for everything but they always explained like AI sentences sorry can not do apologies and surprises. Price are different than booking when we arrive. Hotel booking prices changed in an hour. We needed to change every time cards and we got many cards. There was no water service properly. It’s not enough. One night when asked they said that waters run out.
