Beautiful location, dated facilities

Liked:The breakfasts were incredible and the location is simply beautiful. The room was very spacious with plenty of storage for clothes and toiletries.

Disliked:The room I booked shared a wall with the bar and I probably wouldn't have booked it if I knew how noisy it would be. During the "social hour" where its open to the public I heard EVERYTHING in the room and one of the fridges behind the bar had a VERY squeaky fan so I had to sleep with the AC on to mask the sound. The claw footed tub/shower was beautiful but impractical as there's no place to put things you bring into the shower, no shelves just the floor of the tub.
