Liked:Great location. Loved the swimming pool Breakfast the next morning was really good - we paid for an upgraded breakfast which was worth it

Horrible for Mother’s Day

Liked:The property looks great in pictures. Once you arrived, we were able to check into one room. We were booked for two rooms. One room a king bed and the other a 2 bedroom apartment. The king room was nice, great ac. No windows just two French doors which makes it hard to walk in if you not standing to the left to open the door outward toward the balcony. Once we got into the 2 bedroom apartment as soon as we walked in the room was hot. The staff told us the room was just clean and they left the doors open so they asked us to give it a few minutes to cool the room down. We waited all night and the rooms never got cold. I had to ask for fans which didn’t do much but pass hot air around. I tried opening the windows because it was colder outside at night but they wouldn’t open completely / were screwed shut or were open slightly already. Seems like any of the ac cold air was going out was going out the windows or barely coming out of the vents at all. The restaurant was right next to us and right before dinner time we saw chicken quarters that were just cooked brought out of the oven and left outside on the balcony next to our room. We saw flys all over the chicken they were about to serve for dinner, we did not dine there.

Disliked:Food was bad , wasn’t clean, hot rooms.

I would return there. It was comfortable, homey, and very friendly.

Liked:The pool and beach were amazing. Heaven in the office, was the most wonderful hotel manager I have ever met. And I drove back and forth in the country for 16 years, staying at many motels/hotels. On a scale of 1-10, I give her a 100.

Disliked:Resort was a little run down, but still very comfortable.
