Worst treatment ever- left looking for a place to stay at 10p with a 7 y o

Disliked:Worst experience, checked into a room at 81 deg F temp, no air-conditioning and a shot thermostat. No help was offered, no kind words. Apart from the fact that the room should be habitable, no empathy for a small family with child. We requested being moved or any options of having the temperature fixed but were told to figure it out or go find another place. The fact that the room had a back window popped open while all other rooms had the windows closed seems like the hotel was aware of this pre arrival. Please explain why would you treat a guest this way and I expect reparations be made for the inconvenience caused.

Good location but facility needs maintenance and either put out a reasonable continental breakfast.

Liked:Desk clerk upgraded us after we requested soap as there was none in the room. He didn’t have to do that as we would have been happy with just getting some soap.

Disliked:Place is dated with much maintenance needed. Shingles on building are disintegrating. Fortunately it didn’t rain. Deck needs painting (see photo)Only one towel in our upgraded room which also didn’t appear to have been vacuumed. Breakfast was one of the worst we’ve ever experienced.
