We had a fabulous 3 day stay. We uber into town as it was easier than driving. Highly recommend this hotel even if it’s

Liked:We loved the decor and the castle like building. The breakfast was superb. The staff were very helpful. The room was large and very comfortable.

Disliked:I would have preferred a mirror freestanding in the room not in wardrobe. The pool is really just a plunge pool.

I would retire there

Liked:The view, environment and the atmosphere. The kitchen was excellent as well

Disliked:It is better to go there with a car, but the beach near the hotel is emptier than the one closer to the city

Deceptive practice regarding cancellation

Liked:I booked a last minute room. The booking said I could pay on arrival, but unfortunately I could not get a taxi there at 9pm (I was an hour away). I cancelled within 15 minutes. The terms and conditions I read stated there 'might' be a penalty. It did not say my booking was non-refundable. They charged me the entire €218 because I didn't cancel 24 hours in advance, which of course I couldn't have done. I showed them the T&Cs I downloaded but they refused to budge. Quite unreasonable.
