Liked:The resort enjoys an amazing location with beautiful surroundings and plenty to offer. We particularly enjoyed the choice of three different restaurants, the lovely swimming pool, and the wide variety of activities available. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the Kids Club deserves a special mention. The team there was fantastic and really made an effort to keep our daughter entertained. Overall, the resort has all the ingredients for an excellent family holiday.

Disliked:While the resort has enormous potential, it is starting to show its age and would benefit from some general maintenance and refurbishment. We noticed broken benches, wooden structures in need of varnishing, and several areas that looked tired and worn. A bigger concern was the lack of communication and attention to guest requests. We repeatedly asked for our minibar to be restocked with specific snacks and drinks, yet it took three days for the request to be actioned, and even then, it was misunderstood. Our biggest disappointment came towards the end of our stay when our three-year-old daughter contracted a stomach bug, leaving us confined to our room for the final couple of days. Despite having paid for an all-inclusive package, we were told that ordering a glass of wine through room service would cost an additional MUR 400 per glass. While we understand that room service may have different policies, this felt particularly unreasonable given our circumstances. A little flexibility and consideration would have gone a long way. The resort needs to focus more on communication, consistency, and the overall guest experience, especially when guests encounter unexpected difficulties.
