Brief encounter with paradise

Liked:Real hidden gem, beautiful gardens and cabins, location for us was perfect, staff are very polite and helpful nothing is to much trouble.

A hidden gem

Liked:Everything is perfect at Monoceros. The owners, their staff, the hotel. It is very relaxing. The garden is beautiful and luxurious. The pool area is an invitation to chill. The bungallows are comfortable well furnished and welcoming. You feel good the moment you pass the door. The bed in room 5 was super comfortable. You will get good Thai food at the restaurant. Price is very reasonable for a hotel restaurant. The breakfast is top! It’s rare to put a 10 but this place deserve it!

Amazing stay

Liked:Gorgeous place with little chalets and amazing grounds. Breakfast was lovely. My boys loved playing with the board games provided and playing in the hammocks. On New Years Eve staff gave us lanterns to set off into the sky which was a really lovely touch. Nice base for exploring local area and not far from Chaing Mai. The owners were so helpful organising a car and massages for us on site.

Disliked:The pool was freezing, but I guess it was winter!

Liked:The variety of botanical plants was amazing and made the experience very special

Disliked:Well they have beautifully created a tropical Rain Forest which is heaven for Mosquitoes too as one should expect. Bring lots of repellent as the excellent restaurant is al fresco
