Liked:Place was great and quiet

Disliked:One thing I did not like during my stay was the lack of privacy and respect for guest rooms. This is the first time I have experienced such an issue in all my travels. On several occasions, housekeeping staff opened our room door without knocking or waiting for a response. This happened even when our room had already been cleaned and there was no housekeeping sign or request outside the door. Staff should not enter or open guest rooms without permission, especially when no cleaning service has been requested. One incident occurred while we were sleeping, and another happened while we were inside the room talking. It was very uncomfortable and surprising. Our friends, who were staying at the same hotel during the same period, experienced similar situations where staff suddenly opened their room door without warning. Guest privacy and security are extremely important, and I believe the hotel should provide better training and enforce stricter procedures to ensure that staff always knock and receive permission before entering any occupied room.

Very clean, modern, and spacious and comfortable. Accessible to airport. Conference center.

Liked:Very clean, comfortable, modern hotel within 25 minutes of airport with free airport shuttle. Upgraded rooms when they could not accommodate two side by side for us. Very spacious, modern, clean rooms with comfortable beds and blackout curtains. Thirty minutes to Plaza Mayor.

The staff is rude

Liked:The hotel is fine

Disliked:The staff was very rude. I accidentally caused a mess in the bathroom and needed a toilet brush to clean it up. However, I was told that, due to Spanish regulations, toilet brushes are not allowed in hotel rooms. Instead of offering a solution, all three reception staff members laughed at my request and told me to go and buy one myself. Only after some discussion did they finally send a member of the housekeeping team to the room. I honestly believe that a four-star hotel should provide better customer care. They could have offered to send housekeeping from the beginning rather than laughing at a guest who was simply trying to resolve an embarrassing situation responsibly.
