Great, newly renovated hotel in a handy location

Liked:The property has been newly refurbished and so is in good condition. The rooms and bathrooms are a decent size. It is very close to everything in Malasaña, Chamberí, Checa, Salamanca etc, but also far enough away that it isn’t noisy at night. Lots of great restaurants not far away. Very easy transport connections. I’ve stayed at the hotel before under NH and the recent renovations are a definite improvement.

Disliked:I was given twin beds instead of a double. I understand why they have to have twin rooms, but this was annoying as I was there for 4 nights. I tried to do the online check in to avoid this, but it didn’t work.

Nice stay

Liked:Very close to the metro. Decent breakfast, I liked that they offered us churros. Room was big. The first room we checked in had an issue with plumbing they immediately rectified it and moved us to a better room, this was excellent service
