Overall very good and comfortable but needs upgrading

Liked:The staff members are very helpful, nice and always accommodating. Very easy to check in and check out. Location is very nice and in the middle of everything.

Disliked:Facilities need upgrading. Shower host and bathroom flush were leaking. We have found several insects in the room because of natural habitat as well. You can hear the flushing and conversations of the other rooms.

We enjoyed our stay here.

Liked:It was nice to be able to use the pool. It was nice to have our own kitchen and a large fridge. Aircondition is nice when its so humid outside. Great location and views. I liked the separated room where the kitcken was. They came and made the bed everyday. Really liked the breakfast pattio to sit outside.

Disliked:The pattio was nice, but could do with some more furniture to sit on. Rooms felt a little run down, but where fine. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special.

Overall would recommend for the location and amenities, a great local place to stay while exploring the island!

Liked:The location is awesome - very close to the restaurants and activities in Madalena but slightly off the beaten path. Gorgeous view of the ocean, vineyards and Faial in the distance from the balcony. There was a good amount of space for two people and it was nice to have a kitchen and fridge, plus the AC was great. The breakfast in the mornings was quite nice and the pool was lovely on a hot day. Parking was also very convenient.

Disliked:The bathroom didn’t have the best ventilation and the water from the shower wasn’t very contained since it didn’t have a door.

Disaster!

Disliked:The place is dirty, you don't see anyone at check-in. They just sent you a form to fill and leave the keys in the room open. I arrive in a room full of centipes, dead and alives - not clean at all. Made me the impression some one has made the bed weeks agod and thats it. Sent messages trhu Whatsapp, only contact I had, called, no answer. I finally reach Booking asking for e refund and thru them someone told me they could move me room.. Well at least there where no centipedes. Everythig is old, the painting on the walls falls apart. Sincerelly I have paid for a place that should eoy me to stay. I thnig it should ne be allowed a place like this being on booking.com or any other booking places. Defenitly will never go back there and not recommanding at all.
