If you're looking for a cheap hotel to experience Mackinaw, this is it.

Liked:I liked the price, and I also liked the location being very close to the ferry. It also had its own beachfront, which was really nice.

Disliked:Like most of the hotels in Mackinaw, they seem to be very dated. Our particular room had very old carpet in it, which seemed pretty gross and very dusty in the corners.

Liked:Manager is terrible broke my ankle on the stairs. What’s an awful experience the room for dirty a waste of $600 Pools were absolutely disgusting

Disliked:The beach was nice, just dirty. No one ever cleans it.

Good place to stay in town and close to restaurants / ferries.

Liked:The location was great, right on the water with a beautiful view of the straights. The room was pretty large and fit 5 adults although the pull out couch / bed was very uncomfortable.

Disliked:Parking was terrible, if you arrived later in the afternoon or evening it was a hunt to find a spot and then a long walk to the room. Pool / hot tub closed at 11 which was inconvenient a closing at 1AM would be more reasonable, after spending the whole day on the island and then getting dinner it would have been nice to relax in the hot tub.
