Good clean affordable lodgings for a weekend stay in the mountains

Liked:Convenient location. Clean. Room reasonably appointed. Best value for the cost of any hotel in the area.

Disliked:Room was a bit small. Not a problem for a single occupant for a weekend stay, but it would feel cramped in my opinion for a couple. Although rooms have fridge and microwave, and there is a full guest kitchen, the ice machine is sorely inadequate. I mention it because this is an expected amenity even in budget hotels.

We like the value and the property location, close to Sunday River.

Liked:The owner is always attentive and on property. If there is a problem he tries best to accommodate and resolve. We have stayed there numerous times because of the value and proximity to Sunday River.

Disliked:There were some plumbing issues that did not get resolved during our stay. As I said, the owner was addressing the issue, however it was not resolved.
