Disliked:Our stay at Agriturismo Villa Toscana (4*) was disappointing. We had booked a Standard Double Room for 3 nights, and it did not resemble what is advertised on the websites. Next to the room assigned to us, floor and wall tiles were being chipped away at that moment, creating a tremendous noice. We did not accept this and were offered another, ‘comparable’ room. We took that room, because you don't want to stay next to construction work while on vacation. Neither this nor the first room resembled the beautiful and luxurious rooms shown on the website as ‘Standard Double Room’. (See photos). The price is the same, but the dimensions, location, and appearance are completely different. The room was so noisy that we had to sleep with earplugs in our ears. And the bed was small, 160x190cm. The cottage was old and in need of maintenance, just like the surrounding grounds. We did not receive what was promised and what was shown on the confirmation. We reported this as well, but all they said was that this was a ‘Standard Double Room’. First of all, they should never have offered accommodation next to a renovation site. In our view, Agriturismo Villa Toscana is not an Agriturismo where you stay at a (small-scale) agricultural business and where the proud owner is present. We only saw and spoke to working people. The accommodation is also not a villa, but a tourist accommodation with various buildings and small structures that differ in size and appearance. There was almost a camping atmosphere, while you are given the impression that you are staying in a luxury villa. A real disappointment. The accommodation costs had already been paid in advance, otherwise we would have left immediately.

Very pleasant and we discovered a lot of the surrounding area. You do need a car though.

Liked:The pool was lovely with plenty of chairs. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Disliked:We needed to do washing. There was a machine but required coins. The reception did not keep coins on hand for you to use the machine.

Relaxing, peacful and embedded in the tuscan scenery

Liked:The location was absolutely gorgeous and the pool was lovely! Our room was so big, bright and lovely with great terrace and sunset view
