Lovely stay at Ramons

Liked:The location and the jungle oasis right beside the beach was fantastic. Well organized tours and an awesome pier to jump and snorkle off of.

Disliked:No cocktails; just beer and wine at dinner.

Everything I Was Looking For

Liked:Everything you need was right there. Location was perfect. Grounds were kept immaculate. Had an exceptional room right next to the beach. Not crowded, or loud. Employees were pleasant and helpful. Food was good. Will definitely be back.

Disliked:Needed better communication from Dive shop for excursion that was ultimately canceled due to rough weather and conflicted with completion of SCUBA OW cert. Another instance of poor communication for class time changes due to weather. Ultimately, it was a minor inconvenience. I could've planned my days for other activities, but this didn't change my overall vacation from being fantastic

A different feel than a standard resort, but feels authentic. great staff, great location.

Liked:This was our first time in San Pedro and it was an excellent experience. We were with our two teenage kids and our 10 year old. Pros: the beach is well taken care of, the snorkel experience and all things ocean are handled by an excellent team that are knowledgable and friendly. The golf cart rented through the hotel was great. Rooms were comfortable. Housekeeping was thorough and efficent and our honeymoon suite had the most spectacular view, you walk onto your porch and the ocean is right there. Friends staying at the autograph hotel had a sea wall and didn't feel like you were on the water. Excellent massage on the beach.

Disliked:Cons: there is sargussum just like everywhere else around the area. The restaurant is just ok and they really make it more widely known that it is only beer and wine. Our rooms were very far apart, which of course isn't ideal with a family with kids (even older). Smoothie bar was out of ingredients such as bananas.
