Liked:My partner Fatimah and I Derek stayed at the Chalet Sous Bois in Chalet Des Pins. We drove 2 hours to get there and we were warmly welcomed by Sabrina who hosted us in French and English. Ive never met a better host who could support every need. The chalet was incredibly clean, well prepared with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay in January 2026. We even had a smart TV that allowed us to enjoy our movies and shows as we cuddled by the fire which was already prepared prior. We had a 10% rebate at Lasource spa and the host Sabrina let us know - we werent even aware of this prior. I cant get over how much of an amazing stay and service we had. We need more hosts like Sabrina and family in the world. Job well done ! Fatimah and I now have a core memory for a lifetime.

Beautiful beach, wonderful hosts.

Liked:Lovely homey cabins with a beautiful view and lots os place for kids to run around. The host and her family were extremely kind, charming, and attentive. The beach was the one of the best sandy beaches we've ever been to - especially when you have young kids and would like a beach that allows them to walk into shallow water (instead of jumping off a dock or wading in seaweed.) So difficult to find in Quebec. They also have kayaks and pedal boats which we loved. They thought of everything - there's a little park, beach toys, an herb garden to cook with, lots of lifejackets for everyone.

Disliked:Most of us are short, so we had a bit of trouble reaching the top shelves for plates so we could have used maybe a little stepladder. :) (Or maybe a arrangement where the plates are closer to the ground?) We needed more large bath towels, but the hostess Sabrina made them available right away! We had a truly wonderful time, so these were minor inconveniences.
