  • +Friendly, attentive staff and warm reception
  • +Heated pool and family-friendly amenities (playground, fire pit)

  • +Washer/dryer available; towels supplied for pool
  • +Quiet, family-oriented atmosphere

  • +Good price-performance reported by several guests

Could Improve

  • –Some units are dated and need maintenance
  • –Occasional cleanliness issues reported (insects, cigarette in sofa)
  • –Beds/mattresses and some furniture described as uncomfortable or sinking
  • –Limited bathroom storage in some rooms
  • –Pool hours could be longer (seasonal complaint)
  • –A few guests felt the property was overrated
Cleanliness8.0

Mostly reported as clean and comfortable in several reviews (e.g. 'Room was wonderful, clean and comfortable'), but a few reports note issues (a cigarette in a sofa, presence of insects and general dated/low-maintenance cottages), so cleanliness is slightly reduced overall.

Service9.7

Staff repeatedly described as friendly, welcoming and helpful (multiple mentions of excellent reception and attentive personnel), supporting a high service score.

Location9.8

Consistently praised as a strong point (good location, nice views, close to Cavendish/attractions), so location scores very highly.

Room Quality7.7

Mixed signals: some guests loved cabins and separate bedrooms and found rooms cozy, but there are repeated notes about dated units, odd/sinking mattresses and furniture, and maintenance needs, lowering the room-quality rating.

Amenities9.3

Amenities are often highlighted positively (heated pool, washer/dryer available, playground, towels provided, communal fire pit), so amenities rate well overall.

Value for Money8.4

Several guests mention good price/performance and satisfaction; a few feel it may be overrated or dated. Overall value remains positive but not perfect.

Food and Beverage8.9

Not mentioned in the reviews; assigned the target overall rating as no direct sentiment about food or beverage services was provided.

Overall Experience9.4

Overall sentiment is strongly positive: many guests say they'd stay again, call it a great or pleasant experience, and highlight family-friendly, quiet atmosphere and helpful staff.

The coziest stay with the friendliest staff, we will be back

Liked:The room and staff made it feel so “homey” and welcoming. The room itself too had absolutely everything you needed which made our stay even better. Free wifi, full kitchen with glassware and plates, cooking pots and pan with lots of pantry space. It was an amazing experience and the location was perfect - close to North Rustico and Cavendish which were our favourites.
Disliked:There was nothing we didn’t like or had any issues with. The room was so clean and decorated beautifully too
