Disliked:Somebody stole money from our safe, which worked with a key rather than a code. However, the receptionists instead of being helpful kept telling us it was impossible that somebody could steal since we were the only ones with the keys. We later discovered that the room next to ours had experienced the same problem on the same day—what a coincidence. We decided to involve the management/property, who kindly offered us free drinks and food at the bar for the rest of our stay.

Excellent stay in a lovely beachfront hotel

Liked:Excellent Hotel direct at the beach. We loved the rooms and views, every room has a ocran view. Beach bar is lovely and we always had space on a beach chair in the shade. Keep an eye open for the water faucet in the bathroom, nice little jem

Amazing beachfront property right in the heart of town.

Liked:This was an amazing resort right in the heart of town on the beach. No need to have to take a taxi to go eat. Just take a walk. The beach is not big but it’s enough. It never got crowded. There was never any seaweed. And we came from Tulum where you couldn’t even walk in the water because there was so much there. They don’t blast music so that you can relax. We booked a double queen balcony room that has a hammock on the balcony. Which is on the second floor and it was facing the ocean pretty much in the middle of the building. We had an amazing ocean view. There are no TVs here just FYI if you really have to watch TV bring your iPad or computer. There’s a mini fridge in the room. Beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. The only thing is because it’s so hot and humid right now the AC is above the front door so the cold air does not push all the way back to the end of the room where the beds are so easily. It will definitely help cool the room down, but it can be a little warm at night. They do have two fans in the ceiling above each bed that do help. I would say that was the only negative in the entire experience at this hotel. You get a great breakfast each morning that has eggs and whatever else you want bacon or sausage or ham or veggie or avocado toast lots of different choices on the menu. The coffee was actually very tasty and it also comes with a juice that’s made special each morning the last morning ours was pear juice. It’s nice because the restaurant is literally on the beach facing the water. The hotel staff was always very accommodating and friendly and they’re always raking the sand around the property so it looks really nice when you walk around. Yes you can hear the music from the nearby club at night, but it’s not obnoxious and if it really bothers you, they also Supply earplugs in the room. We did not need to use them because it wasn’t that bad and normally we are affected by noise when we’re trying to sleep.
