Great transport links into the City

Liked:I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s worth paying the extra from the plus rooms. They now charge for parking which used to be free but 4.50 for 24 hours is much cheaper than parking in the city. It’s a 9 min train journey into the city from right outside the door of the hotel, or you have a choice of the tram or bus. If you’re not bothered about a view I would definitely stay here for a city break.

Ideal standard for the price and location

Liked:Fresh looking hotel. Good standard. Room was clean warm. Bed was comfortable. Tea & coffee supplied. Bathroom clean and fresh. Friendly staff welcome you. Checking in can be at the screen or at the reception desk. Never ate at the hotel this time but the Costa is attached.

Well done Sandra, at Edinburgh Park Premier Inn

Liked:My wife and I have just returned from two 1-night stays at this hotel and found it brilliant. We've stayed a few times at the Edinburgh Premier Inn Hub hotel at Haymarket, which was great, but we fancied a little more room this time, so opted for Edinburgh Park P.I. I had made a bit of a mix-up with regards my two bookings, but Sandra, on reception, sorted everything out and was most helpful. We saw her again when we returned for our second visit and she even remembered our names. She is a credit to the Premier Inn brand. The hotel is easy to get to .. bus, train and tram stops are all nearby (less than 50m) and there's even a large retail park less than 100m away. We shall certainly return to this hotel in the future

No reason to go back

Liked:Used to use Premier Inn a lot but haven't for a while Needed and overnight stay. On the positive, room was a reasonable size, clean, bright, warm Staff were friendly But ... extra charge for parking - this isn't a city centre hotel Were told that restaurant was fully booked at our preferred time - it wasn't TV was very difficult to control - not sure if this was the handset or the TV "Hot" water was lukewarm Old fashioned shower over bath - needs updating for safety Meal menu was very poor - very limited choices especially for veggies. Bowl of nachos to share were lukewarm; slopped over with a minimal salsa, overloaded with jalapenos Disappointed and will book elsewhere next time
