Liked:This has been the best homestay we have stayed in during our trip around India. We felt very welcome right from the start, though be warned Google maps is currently a bit off (turn right down the little track when Google tells you you have arrived). Razia and her daughter Rahila made our stay amazing. We travelled late in the season so the water pipes were starting to freeze but they had filled an enormous tank in our bathroom full of hot water. It, literally, must have taken them all morning. It was cold (-2°C) so we had extra blankets and a hot water bottle each. We ate in the family kitchen and the food was delicious. With the wood fired heater roaring, we were very snug. Complete quiet at night and we had the best sleep of the trip so far, no horns, no dogs, no interruptions. Breakfast was a repeat of the night before with fresh home made puffed up bread and eggs or jam, washed down with butter tea. We were made to feel a part of the family and it gave us a real taste of life in the Nubra Valley.
