Liked:We stayed here for three nights during our trip to the Landmannalaugar and the Thórsmörk valley. The place is clean and fully equipped with everything you need including a kitchenette in the bedroom. In this small village there is an excellent restaurant called The Barn Kitchen - it is not cheap but highly recommended!

Overall, our stay was great and the host went above and beyond.

Liked:All of the amenities are included for a multi-night stay - full kitchenette with proper cookware & utensils. The heated towel rack was great! Some very nice touches from the owner: sleep masks, slippers, etc. Everyone had their own outlets beside their beds. If you are open to quite a long drive, there is a lot to see in the area.

Disliked:No mirrors in the room which made it difficult for a communal bathroom.

Liked:We really enjoyed our stay. The room is above a residence and the host was very nice and the neighborhood was super quiet. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed in the room.

Disliked:We thought the location was great, though it is 15-20 minute drive off the main road, but it was a good central home base for exploring both the south coast and golden circle.
