Staying here was a highlight of our trip because of how gracious and accommodating the family was!

Liked:A very special place! Tranquil and peaceful. The family will go all out to help ensure you are happy with anything you need!

Disliked:The map booking.com offered is not accurate but fortunately the family immediately supported our journey to it.

Good

Liked:Nice to break up the drive between Puerto Viejo and our next location. The family room is on a separate property from the Chocolate Lodge. Next to a small agriculture property, has a stream flowing outside, and an empty pool. Large covered open area for parking and cooking.

Waking up in the middle of a cocoa farm was very unique!

Liked:Beautiful and unique location. Everything you need, even coffee for the morning, a fridge and some board games. Very friendly host. Even saw some frogs, birds and a sloth on a tour around the farm. We had a beautiful stay.

Disliked:Fridge a bit too cold, our food froze. Location in the middle of nature, so be aware that there are bugs & mosquitoes.
