The hotel is located on Sandown Race Course. This is off the Portsmouth Road, the A307. Please note that the front desk is not available after 8.30 pm. Please note there if you have mobility issues, we do not have a elevator in our property. A deposit may be required at the property.

Convenient, basic but make sure you have a good hot shower beforehand

Liked:It was conveniently placed to the venue, parking is free

Disliked:The fact its staffless is efficient but someone threw up in the main lobby which was pretty gross considering noone was there to clear it up. No lift access which is a bit annoying if you're staying to exhibit at the show and don't want to leave items in the car overnight. Water pressure in the shower may as well have been a trickle.

In a good location.

Liked:We requested an earlier access time to our three rooms, since we wanted to change for a wedding, following our journey. This was done for us very willingly by the SPL team. It was much appreciated.

Disliked:The bath screen would not stay in place when you had a shower, so some of the water dripped down the screen onto the floor when showering. A slip hazard if you didn’t spot it. It just needs a repair.

Great location and comfortable with great parking and nearby food options

Liked:Location was wonderful, just across the road from the venue we were seeing the band at and lovely restaurants and cafes within a very short walk, we also went to Hampton Court Palace the next day with a short drive up the road. Parking outside was very welcome and easy, the automatic code access ran smoothly and whole place was clean and comfortable

Disliked:No staff at all on site, room book stated that coffee, tea, milk etc were available in a basket in reception if missing in our rooms, but only enough spare milk for 1 person and 1 drink, needs to be more in rooms, also as a non hot drink drinker, I would love for once for there to be a drink for non-hot drink drinkers - a bottle of water or soft drink would be ideal.
