Not recommended. Specially the family who runs the restaurant

Liked:Only the reception staff who we deal with them. They were helpful and friendly. Also one lady with glasses from the HK middle edge. She cleaned our bathroom first day after the technician done with their job. We stayed here from 28 to 31 of July

Disliked:The restaurant. The most bad experience I have. First day breakfast was not busy at 9:30. We prepared our table by ourselves and when I was asking for cutlery the waiter told I must go and pick it up from the buffet. Honey for two days empty dispenser. No pastry’s in two days we were lucky to find two pieces of Croissants. Easy to see that they are reusing the leftover food for next day breakfast buffet. Because was not fresh. To decide to have dinner in the restaurant this was a mistake , disappointed and disastrous. We arrived first day at 21:30 for dinner they told us the kitchen closed at 21:30 okay we respected and we left. We decided second day to go for dinner again. Here killed our holiday in this hotel. We entered 20:55 We great them. Asked that we’re room 114 and we like to have Al carte dinner here. One young man after I could know his name if correct Zaher. Told me we closed I told yesterday your colleague here and also in the reception that the kitchen closing at 21:30 and we are in time. His answer was who told you? I’m the boss here and I will come back to you. We waited like 10 minutes and he come again that I told you we closed and I’m the son of the owner. It’s private family business?? I saw one middle aged man in the bar I think they’re Indian family. I told him please we were here in time and we wanted to eat. His answer was speak deutsch deutsch and go out now 😡😡 respect I was talking English. But I’m Hungarian and I could even give him shit in Hungarian he’ll not understand nothing. Sure I were angry from the staff ask us when we’re very politely with them to go out. No any normal person going to eat and create problems and we’re very normal and we knew the humility. So they have -0 hospitality, professional and attitude. The young man doesn’t know without the guest’s his father will not be owner and he’ll not be his son. I understood when private person run a restaurant in the hotel not easy.

I’ve booked it before; I’ll book it again!

Liked:Clean, good breakfast (espresso included notwithstanding what I’ll be saying later about the machine), easy to reach by car, good parking

Disliked:Coffee machine at breakfast wasn’t working properly: it never gave me the cup of coffee I wanted; it gave me a cup of dirty water Simple biscuits would be nice to have with a cup of tea or coffee

Nice hotel a bit outside city center

Liked:We chose this hotel because it was easy to reach by car and had a parking garage. It was not very centrally located, but the old town was just a 10 minute bus drive away. We had breakfast in a bäckerei located in the "garden store" 5min walk away, cost of hotel breakfast was 15 EUR pr. person. We had a nice view from our room. Just a couple of minor negatives: 1) I noticed some black spots in the shower. 2) The staff was "not aware of any kiosks or grocery stores nearby" - even though there were gas stations and McDonalds very close, which could possibly serve the purpose (which they did). Staff should have been helpful and knowledgeable enough to mention this. One staff member was not very friendly - but hey, we all have a bad day once in a while All in all a nice stay
