Oceanfront Charm at Riad Mimouna

Liked:Riad Mimouna is a beautiful hotel perched right on the Atlantic shoreline, just steps from the shops and winding streets of Essaouira. The breakfast was exceptional, and the early‑morning ocean views were absolutely stunning. Our room and bathroom were excellent—comfortable, well‑appointed, and easy to temperature‑control. The riad’s central atrium, rising three floors, is ornate and breathtaking. It was quite windy during our stay, and the door rattled a bit, but never enough to disturb our sleep. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fun to be around. We even caught part of a soccer match with one of them, and Mr. Karriem kept us laughing with his jokes about checkout time and his enthusiastic Hammam recommendation.

Liked:An old mill transformed to a wonderful riad. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a lift for people that have disabilities. The transformation of the mill was made with taste. Good value for money.

Surreal and breathtaking hotel

Liked:My wife and I absolutely loved this riad/hotel!! The hospitality and service is remarkable. All of the workers are so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner is delicious. Lastly, the ocean view from our hotel room was surreal and like a dream. We loved falling asleep to the ocean waves at night. The hotel has so much charm and is one of my all time favorite hotels and that’s coming from a world traveler who has been to a lot of hotels. My wife and I even went to the Atlas Mountains after our stay at the hotel and ended up immediately coming back to this hotel during the same trip since we missed it so much. I rarely write hotel reviews but this one certainly deserved it! We can’t wait to come back again soon.
