Outstanding First Class Property!

Liked:The hotel is in a central location, incredibly well appointed, has an exceptional world class spa, a fantastic bar, and outstanding staff who pride themselves on delivering an exceptional experience for their guests! I had emailed the GM, Ms. Stoel, prior to my stay, and she was so quick to respond, and incredibly gracious! She even sent me an email during my stay to check in on how my stay was going. The fact that this was high season and the hotel was sold out during my stay made her thoughtful gesture even more appreciated. Shout out to Dania who checked me in, arranged a wonderful upgrade to a premium room even though the hotel was fully occupied, and assisted me throughout my stay. Shout out to David who was very gracious to me, ensuring I was well taken care of, and comping my breakfast on the last day of my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the English Bar, and the staff there- Daniela, Daniela, and Larisa took great care of me! Daniel, the sever at breakfast always remembered my coffee order and was always happy to see me. Last but not least, the spa staff were all incredible, especially the spa manager (I believe her name is Eliana). I visited the spa every single day, and twice on one of the days! It is one of the finest spas anywhere! There were also so many others throughout my stay that were incredible ambassadors for the Intercontinental Athenee Palace Bucharest. I will always treasure the wonderful memories from my stay at this luxurious property with such great staff!

Home away from home in Bucharest

Liked:With my 43 years of traveling all over the world the Athenee Palace Intercontinental has a special place for me. The hotel is a true home away from home. A Place where I know the concierge already for years and greets me personally by name. A hotel where you see the general manager giving a hand during breakfast to give an example, and to see her 30 minutes later at the reception to keep an eye on things. Excellent breakfast, rooms maybe a little old fashioned, but Intercontinental comfortable and a superb location.

Exceptional service and my absolute go-to in Bucharest!

Liked:I stay at the InterContinental Athenee Palace Bucharest twice a year, and my most recent visit only proved why this hotel is my absolute place to stay. The entire staff is incredibly helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Damir from the security team. After I mistakenly left my phone in a taxi from the airport, Damir went completely above and beyond by driving me back to the airport in his own car to help locate the driver and retrieve my phone. His incredibly positive attitude turned a very stressful situation into a massive success. This level of care and dedication of the hotel staff to guests is rare. Highly recommend!
