Horrible. We dont sleep the 3 night

Disliked:On the 5th floor, there were children screaming and crying past midnight. 2 nights out of 3, around 9 p.m., when we were starting to sleep, there was a really loud banging on our doors. We tried to make the young man understand that we wanted to sleep, without success. In addition, when we arrived, we asked to change our card for payment. The employee supposedly did it. However, the payment was still transferred to the old card.

Severe water damage and sketchy. Not for Tourists

Liked:The best part was that it was outside the city so we wouldnt have to deal with underground parking. That being said, the parking lots was super dark.

Disliked:1. The Parking Lot was super dark and there were people getting high (not cannabis) in the dark corner of the lots. We managed to park under one of the only lit street lights for our safety. This was our first impression of our stay and we didnt even check in yet. 2. Going inside, it was clear that this hotel is used more like a hostel. I understand the need to house vulnerable individuals but, the hotel should not be advertised for tourists and charge over $200 per night if that is the case. One of the elevators was out of service, the floor seemed to be perpetually wet when it wasnt raining, and the other working elevator was janky. 3. The room: on first look it looked clean and updated, but upon closer look, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling and showing water stained wall underneath, the grout, faucets, and drained had black mold on them. And the whole room smelled of mildew and bleach. My partner has a mold allergy and it was immediately triggered so we was up all night sneezing and feeling like he was inhaling razorblades. The bedding also smelled heavily of mildew which gave me a migraine. It was clear there was an issue with water damage that they were trying to cover up with bleach (which doesnt work btw.) that was not just the room but the whole building. I feel so bad for the people and families staying there that have to live there because they do not have another place to go. This really reflects badly on how Canada/Ottawa takes care of their vulnerable people. I only had to stay one night, I overheard some people saying how they were there for months.
