Ok for one night stay but not a four star experience

Liked:Location was great Staff were polite and helpful. Good breakfast.

Disliked:Whole place felt a bit run down and in need of a refurbishment. Overall felt 3 star not 4 star. We had 3 rooms in our booking and experience was similar in all rooms.. There were limited toiletries in the bathrooms eg shampoo but no conditioner. Minimum standards met. Weak showers as well. No air con in any of our rooms. - during hot spell, we only had a little fan which was no ideal. Thankfully was only 1 night stay.

Lovely welcoming and accommodating stay

Liked:We loved how welcoming and accommodating the hotel was towards our dog, providing a dog bed, bowl and treats. Lovely relaxed bar and lounge with good food. Beautiful grounds and within easy reach of Stratford-upon-Avon.

Disliked:Sofa bed mattress was a bit thin so you could feel the springs
