Subpar for the Industry

Liked:There is nothing luxe about this hotel and check out my review of their sister hotel The Courtleigh. From the sad breakfast and if you're vegan all you're getting for breakfast is the fruit and tea. The ATM was clearly out of money and Patrice at the front desk told me she didn't have any complaints and therefore the issue didn't exist. Then proceeded to tell me to walk 15 min or take a 5 min taxi to the bank. Bizarre at best. The rooms are dated and the conference spaces used for the Caribbean Studies Association conference lacked audio visual staff, equipment and class. Our view was stunted by the ropes for painting using a scaffold and mold on bathrooms that need updating. Yuck, oh and this hotel is incapable of cash advances but thinks it's a leader in the hospitality. Get a room at the Four Seasons instead, for the money I wasted here you'd do better paying more.

Liked:The entire stay was awesome from check-in to check-out I would like to specifically recognize Renee' who took care of my room, her smile was bright and radiant, she had an amazing drive to provide excellent Customer service The food was fresh and delicious The entire property was very clean Thank you for making my first trip to New Kingston, Jamaica one I will never forget
